Dresser Island Beaver Dam Sit :: 11/07/2009 - 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Bring a flashlight and a chair for a hike along Dresser Island to the levee where we will sit to observe “busy beavers” at work and play. Beavers are nocturnal, so how much we “ see” will depend on how bright the skies are and how quietly we sit! Meet in the Dresser Island parking lot for a discussion on beaver and participant behavior before we head out on the trail to the beaver dam. This is an outdoor, nighttime activity, dress accordingly. Reservations begin October 24.
